PKF Mack Centre Circle Luncheon for the West Coast Fever
20 Jun 2016
May 27 2016 saw the 2nd annual PKF Mack Centre Circle Luncheon. The event took place at one of Perth’s most iconic venues in Frasers Restaurant in the spectacular Kings Park.
As proud sponsors of the West Coast Fever it was great to see more than 180 like minded people in one room celebrating the teams on and off court performance. Special guests included the team’s number 1 ticket holder the Honourable Mr Colin Barnett MLA.
Our very own Darren Shillington, PKF Mack Partner and Netball WA Board Member, addressed the enthusiastic audience consisting of major stakeholders, the entire West Coast Fever team and guests.
Darren marked the event as a great opportunity for the corporate community to interact and experience a small part of what it takes to be one of WA’s finest elite athletes.
“This event continues to strengthen our partnership with West Coast Fever, and it was wonderful to see these role models engage with the corporate community,” Shillington said.
The event also gave us the opportunity to continue our involvement with the community, by presenting to one lucky guest with an all expenses paid trip to Melbourne to watch the Fast5 Netball World Series.
PKF Mack greatly appreciates the generosity of all attendees who helped raise money for the WA team travelling to Sydney in August for the Marie Little OAM Shield. Marie Little OAM was the founder of Sport Inclusion Australia (formerly known as AUSRAPID) in 1986 and dedicated her working life to improve the lives of people with an intellectual disability, using the medium of sport. Renaming the event in her name was an honour of her work within the netball community.
Anyone looking to join the team and be apart of the West Coast Fever simple speak to Darren Shillington or join directly through the West Coast Fever membership page.
